Dr. Hwang retired from his engineering and management career after 25 years, and has served full-time as the pastor of Clear Lake Chinese Church since August 2001. Before becoming the pastor, he was a Bible teacher and deacon for many years. He has also been teaching Bible and theology to ministers in Far East through his mission trips. He was a radio host for the “Bible Treasure” program, which was broadcast in Houston area for years. He is a frequent seminar speaker on "Science and Faith".
Before becoming a pastor, he lead a team doing robotics research works in NASA for Space Shuttle and Space Station programs. He holds Doctoral degrees both in Engineering and in Christian Ministry.

英國劍橋大學法拉第宗教與科學研究所進修。
第五代基督徒﹐少年時蒙恩後即在教會服事。2001年蒙召放下太空工程師專業,全時間牧會傳福音至今。期間經常赴远东培訓傳道人。牧會之外﹐並主播福音廣播節目﹐應邀演講“科學與信仰”等專題。
25 年電機/機器人工程師﹐包括15 年服務於美國休士頓太空中心﹐任研發主管﹐領導約四 十位資深工程師﹐成立六間研究室﹐多次得太空中心研發獎﹐發表太空機器人研究論文多篇。曾經應邀講學於美﹐台各大學和工業機構。
Benjamin Lam, English/Youth Pastor
Benjamin Van Lam is a native Houstonian who is ethnically both Chinese and Vietnamese.
Benjamin has a BS in Electrical Engineering from UT Austin, and has served in youth ministry for over 8 years in the Houston, Dallas, and Brooklyn, NY areas. Upon God's calling, Benjamin decided to pursue a degree at Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS). After graduating from DTS in 2009 with a Master of Theology (Th. M.), Ben began ministering full-time at Clear Lake Chinese Church. In April 2010, Ben and April Lang married. Together, Ben and April joyfully serve the multi-ethnic C-LIFe group, the youth ministry, and the college students at UHCL.

The Mission of CLCC is to equip all believers, (Ephesians 4:12); to fulfill the great commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, (Matthew 28:19-20); in the greater Houston Community through worship, Bible study, fellowship, evangelism and witnessing Christ love to the community.

一、神是自有永有的， 祂創造天地和一切有形，無形的萬物，乃是聖父、聖子、聖靈，三位一體獨一的真神。
二、耶穌基督是父神的獨生子，是完全神，也是完全人，而非受造者。祂是我們的主，道成肉身，因著聖靈感孕，由童貞女馬利亞所生，被釘於十字架上，為世人的罪受死，第三天復活，而後昇天，坐在全能父神的右邊，成為神與人之間的中保。
三、聖靈是信徒的保惠師，祂催促世人知罪，領人悔改，永遠與信徒同在，且引導信徒明白真理，成聖得勝，活出基督的樣式，得以榮神益人。
四、聖經全部六十六卷都是神所默示的在聖靈監督下由人寫成，乃是神完全的真理，永不改變，是我們信仰及生活的唯一準則。
五、人是神照祂自己形像所造，卻因罪以致敗壞。各人必須本乎神的恩典，信靠耶穌基督，憑祂寶血使罪得赦，藉著聖靈重生，方能進入神的國。
六、教會是基督的身體，基督是教會的元首。教會是神的家，包括所有重生得救的信徒。
七、耶穌基督將來必要再來建立永恆的國度，在神所定的時刻，所有的人都將改變或是復活，信徒得永生，永遠與神同在，不信的必受永刑，永遠沉淪滅亡。
